Shadows in the sunlight

In the stillness of the morning light,
As the sun begins its daily flight,
I see the shadows start to dance,
A waltz that's born of happenstance.

They twist and turn, they leap and play,
A fleeting show that won't delay,
For as the sun grows ever bright,
The shadows fade and take their flight.

Yet still I'm struck by their allure,
The way they move, so calm and pure,
As if they hold some secret grace,
That time nor space can e'er erase.

And though they're gone, their memory lingers,
A haunting tune that stills my fingers,
For in their dance I see a truth,
That life's a fleeting dance of youth.

So let me cherish every moment,
Let me savor every component,
Of this dance we call our life,
With all its shadows and its light.
