in this world
that I should
be troubled?

offended?

How?

Say it loud!
my ears are itching
for an answer.

Is it slander?
Is it mischief?
Is treason?
Or, what you?

Let the world
bear me witness
For I will hide my face
in shame;
if not
let the world
bear me witness--
I have done nothing.
