The Grief
I wished for a moment that you were near
I know it was silly dear
When it just had shed the last night rain
I felt my heart full of pain
I could hear the drops that remain
Shattering down through the drain
When a thrush broke the hush at night
My crush broke all my might
It could have sung in pain
But I've heard a jingle of gain
As my heart splits in pain
I know that's not your main.
