Time machine
Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)
We eat and drink of time
every moment in our lives
Partaking tales of glory
from what we call the past
A history or remnants of the stories,
crossed paths
whether we realize this will represent lessons learned
Prophesy of what our minds perceive in perpetuity,
from what we have observed, facets of our nature
Key communication between us within our makeup
The DNA of our consciousness
altered by both personal and group experience
though memories
which persist in the strongest of our beliefs
We evolve as we freefall
throughout the passage
Of all humanity surviving in time.
Gathering trace particles defining us,
written into stardust trails
In this our time machine
