The Lord Sees Me
THE LORD SEES ME
The Lord Sees Me
The Lord sees me for who I am.
He only sees me for what I am now and for what I am to be.
He sees the best in me when everyone around me can only see another black man who has amounted to nothing in their eyes.
They see me as run down man down on his luck in life.
Yet the Lord sees me for who I am.
He sees me for who he has determined for me be in life.
He sees a man destined for greatness for he has already showed favor over my life.
He sees a man striving to be more than just your average guy.
He sees a man who will not quit on his dreams, yet they all seem so far away.
He sees a man who knows no limits and no bounds we willing to fight for what he wants.
He sees a man who does not fear any man or women, yet this man he sees is not a fool.
For yet this man that he sees in me does know the fear God and to respect God.
The Lord sees me for who I am.
Not for who I have been in my past.
He sees me for all the compassion that I carry within my heart for people.
He sees me for the Godly spirit that he has placed within me.
Deeply hidden within this flesh and bones that make up this shell of a body that it dwells in.
The Lord sees me for who I am.
And God is the only whom I need to please.
In this life in order to have life abundantly.
