My Mother
It takes a very strong woman to be a mother, It has taken an even stronger woman to be “my” mother.
When I became a mother I finally understood your joy, love, frustration and pain,
But no matter how difficult things would get, I know without hesitation you would gladly do it all over again.
The smell of your perfume; the sound of your voice when you would rock me and sing, sitting out on the porch in grandma’s swing.
I cherish every moment we have had and will spend together, they are the memories most dear to my heart, for one day they will be all I have left when the time comes that we must part.
Thank you Mom for everything you have done and given me,
To me you are the greatest Mom that there will ever be.
