Winithread
Winithread

Teeny wriggling mini heads
They dwarf the smallest pinheads
Wee dots so small the human eye
Without a scope cannot espy
The Master's divine trademark
Almighty circumspection
No faults, mistakes, no blemish lack
True heavenly perfection
A speck from Eve two fortnights waits
A partner crumb from Adam starts
Then both dots do the dance of fate
To force-fill earth with crucial hearts
They stay and swim together
Hugging that life-giving wall
Six thousand hours later
The story of us all
That union lasts but for a while
With Nature at the helm
Each outcome is without a guile
All doubting minds to overwhelm
Imagine all who's walked this realm
The layman, Emperor, the king
Who've sat at any earthly helm
All products of that teeny-weenie thing
Divine microbiology
Since that most precious morn
Preceded all technology
Before the stars were born
About this poem
This poem is the result of observations in a micro biology setting where the intricacies of reproduction was the main topic for several weeks. It is also an attempt to highlight the mysteries hidden in life and each human birth.
