The Snowflakes Fall
Alan Caron 1958 (Swansea)
The snowflakes fall.
The candles burn brightly as they break up the night. Oh my God, what a beautiful sight! As I lay by your side, I feel warm inside. I look outside and can see the snowflakes as they fall from the sky. I look into your pretty blue eyes, and I see all the years that have gone by. I came by to say hi. But you asked me to stay. What more can I say? I can see the sun's rays on the window pane. It's going to be a glorious day. I don't want to leave; please ask me to stay. You already paid for your way. Thank you anyway.
