Number 7
Robert T. Davenport 1979 (Newark, New Jersey)
Number 7
By Robert T. Davenport
In the realm of numbers, a symbol stands tall,
A powerful digit, revered by all,
Number 7, a mystical guide,
With secrets and wisdom it does confide.
Seven wonders of the ancient world,
Seven colors in a rainbow unfurled,
Seven days to create, to rest,
Seven notes in a musical quest.
Seven chakras, energy centers aligned,
Seven virtues, noble and kind,
Seven seas, vast and deep,
Seven continents, where stories seep.
In the realm of faith, seven is revered,
Seven heavens, where angels appeared,
Seven sacraments, sacred and pure,
Seven virtues, to help us endure.
Seven is a number of completion,
A cycle fulfilled, a divine connection,
In seven years, cells renew,
In seven stages, a butterfly's debut.
Seven is a symbol of balance and grace,
A reminder to seek wisdom's embrace,
To trust intuition, to follow the signs,
To delve into mysteries, where truth intertwines.
So let us honor the power of seven,
In its presence, may we be driven,
To seek knowledge, to explore the unknown,
To find harmony, in the seeds we've sown.
For in the realm of numbers, seven shines,
A beacon of wisdom, where truth aligns,
A powerful symbol, guiding our way,
As we navigate life, day by day.
