The Unseen Hand
Don Harding 1935 (Beechbottom)
Tonight as I wander off to sleep,
These last words is what I speak
My time on earth is fading fast
The final breath will soon be cast
Gazing back over all those years
With hearty laughter and sad tears
I've enjoyed the mountains, upon high
Not so the valleys, that came behind
Good times and bad has been my lot
Many wars and battles have I fought
But I've had no fear, as I trod the land
My Savior guides with His unseen hand
About this poem
Woke up at 3 AM and just began writing-- Would like to think it was a great spiritual message that came but in reality it was more then likely the beans I had for supper.
