I wish you could hold me now
You’re the only one who knows how
I’m feeling so alone
Since the day you’ve been gone…

I Miss You!

In my heart, I’ll hold you dear
It makes me feel like you are near
Next time I see you, I’ll be excited
To hug and kiss you again, I’ll be delighted!

About this poem

Instead of a Dear John letter, I wrote a Dear Soldier poem titled I Miss You for my husband.
