If I Really Believed
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then wouldn’t my problems be less of a problem?
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then wouldn’t my priorities be somewhat more of a priority?
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then wouldn’t my passion for His Worship, His Word, and His Work be somewhat more passionate?
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then wouldn’t my purpose be a little more driven, a little more definite and a little more determined?
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then would I not press into Him and be more persistent in seeking first His Kingdom and His Righteousness in Jesus’ Name?
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then would I not pray without ceasing believing that God is going to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that I could ask or think in Jesus’ Name?
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then would I not expect Him to give all that is needed for life and godliness?
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then wouldn’t there be enough of His Power to accomplish His Will?
If I really believed that Jesus is Coming today, then wouldn’t my attitude and behavior truly reflect this?
About this poem
If you really want to see what you believe, then take a long honest and humble look at how you behave. For what we believe bubbles up in how we behave. (Matthew 7:16-20)
