Life

C. R. Huddleston 2001 (McKenzie, Tennessee)

What is the meaning of life?
To make a family?
To pursue a career?
Or even to lead the world?
Our lives are meaningless,
And only exist to serve others.
We live so others can live better.
We live for other people.
We live so that we please others.
No one cares about you, in particular.
They just care if you are a benefit,
Or a detriment to their life.
No one cares about you.
No one cares.
No one.
