DONT YOU HEAR ME?
Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)
DON'T YOU HEAR ME?
Where am I at? Help! I'm lost!
I can't find my way out
Stuck here, in this frozen frost
DONT YOU HERE ME SHOUT!
Hello! Are You getting me?
I'm here,! But what is here?
I'm blind and can't see
All alone with my fear
Why don't You answer me?
I feel You, I hear You!
Don't You hear my plea?
Am I getting through?
Please God say something!
Answer me please!
I'm lost, here with nothing
I'm falling on my knees!
Please Lord, speak!
Turn on the light!
I'm here, so very weak
My hope fades from sight
Hey! Are You still here?
C’mon give me a sign!
Give me something clear!
Something I can find
No, I am alone
(Sigh) all by myself
I can't reach Your Throne
Can't even help myself!
Hey! I see a dim light!
Hello! Any one there?
You aren't speaking right
Did you say prayer?
Pray? Well I guess I could.
Will it bring more Light?
Then I guess I should
But it doesn't feel right
Hey God, I need You
More Light! Yes!
I'm getting through!
Maybe, I guess…
Help me to see
Oh God I can!
Yes! Set me free!
And I see the Man
And I see a cross
He stumbled up the hill
He'll pay the cost?
Lord is this real?
They put the nail
Through His hand!
He didn't curse or yell
I don't understand
What's happened here?
Who is that poor guy?
Your Son, Lord, here?
Why is He going to die?
What's His crime?
He's paying for the lost?
No! That's my crime!
I should pay the cost!
No, Your right
No way I could.
THIS will bring Light?
Doesn't seem it should
This is what we deserve, Lord
All of us have gone astray
But look, oh my Lord
He rose on the third day!
Thank You for saving me!
For taking my sins away!
Let me help set others free!
Just give me words to say…
Amen
