trees in autumn

truxton cox covey 2010 (San Francisco)

In autumn's hue, the trees stand tall,
Their leaves aflame with vibrant calls,
A symphony of colors bright,
A sight to behold, a wondrous sight.

Their branches stretch towards the sky,
A fiery canopy on high,
A blaze of orange, red, and gold,
A treasure trove of stories untold.

Their limbs, a tapestry of grace,
A dance of nature, a wondrous place,
Where birds and bees, and small creatures,
Find refuge in their leafy hall.

The wind whispers secrets in their ears,
As autumn's breeze begins to fear,
The trees, a living, breathing thing,
A testament to life's sweet ring.

Their beauty is a gift from above,
A reminder of nature's love,
A time to cherish and adore,
The trees in autumn, forever more.
