Darkness

Days turned to night. Light to Dark
My mind races, where do I begin where do I start.
I'm not innocent I've never been.
I've hurt the ones I love realizing what I was involved in.
I'm trying to do things right. I'm being honest and pure. While the one I am in love with stays unsure.
I understand the feelings she has. For I felt these too.
She had did the same for many years and I knew.
I never said a word to her. She would've denied it anyway.
I mean without proof what could I honestly say.
I want to be better. And move forward.
But I think very soon she will cross the border. Leaving me on the other side
I try to show I'm a changed man
To keep her I mustn't hide
Be an open book like glass that turned from sand
