SO CRUMBLE MOUNTIANS
SO CRUMBLE MOUNTAINS
Lord Jesus I just want to praise Your Name
Knowing nothing will ever be the same
As it was long before, at the start
When I first heard the knock at the door of my heart
I will not be afraid to trust in You
For by your Spirit I'll see it through
It's not by might, nor by power
But by your Spirit I'll stand through this hour
Though I walk through the Valley of Death
Though I hold my mortal breath
I just need to see Your Face
To know I'm saved by Grace
The seas can rise against me
I can stand in Caesar's fury
Death can be sure to come,
But I know where my help comes from
The mountains may crumble
The politicians may grumble
The bombs may be dropping
I'll lift Your praise nonstopping
The stars can leap to the earth
Man can change his sense of worth
But my faith will never yield
Because my faith is my shield
So Lord send me your peace
For this life is just a lease
A place to stay while I roam
Till, dear Lord, I come back home
The giant can come like a Philistine,
He can curse and seem so mean
He comes with a shield and a sword
But I come in the name of the Lord!
The sands can continue to slide
Man can build walls of pride
But I stand on the Rock of Ages
Standing firm in the storm that rages
I can be thrown in a fire or a lion's den
I can be abandoned by every friend
I could be poor, sick, and in jail
But Your love I'll always tell
So crumble mountains, fall on down
Drop bombs! Explode the ground!
If Christ is for me, who can stand against me?
Not Caesar, nor death! Not sky nor sea!
For there is one Lord of all
And His help do I call
Lord Jesus I just want to praise Your Name
Knowing nothing will ever be the same
AMEN
