Lady Bird

I came upon a a wounded Bird it swore it could not fly. No matter how it stretched it's wing's it could not reach the sky. I sat and pondered what to should I stop and help. Commit myself to this Bird and try and make it well. In doing this a friend I'd find one that I could keep, even when it flew away I would not have to weep. So I gently reached down to the Bird to lift it to the Sky, it ran around in circles then pocked me in the eye. It said I am a Lady Bird and that is what we do, pretend we can not fly at all to hurt poor fools like you.
