Arthritis and me

You ravish my body.
You do not care.
You leave me in pain.
It is only you that can ever gain.
I whimper and wail a feeling of despair ..
I always knew that you would not care....
You spread yourself within me,
I feel you in my bones ,
I feel the slightest twinge even in my toes...
My swollen limbs , my silent tears,
My uncertainties, my forever fears..
You seethe you gloat you inhale
triumphantly, you know there's much more you can do with me...
You hold your twisted claws together , and you know you will continue to haunt me forever..
I know you act so cowardly ..
I know you cause such agony..
I open my eyes ,and there you are ,greeting me that leaves a permanent scar...
You make no sound.
You are deep within ,
i know with me
You will always remain..
You do not care about the pain I feel , you do not care for the tears that I stream.
You show no emotion
You do not care
I can't see you but I know you are there..
I will embrace the world as I can do ,I'll find the strength and be stronger than you...

About this poem

This poem is about the struggles I suffer daily with Rhumatoid Arthritis...I like to reach out to people who are suffering as I do...to tell them that they aren't alone and I understand the agony and distress it can cause..
