Minor Whiners
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Once minor whiners given time,
Climbing up a vine.
Slowly getting,
Attention doing this.
Few who listen to their nonsense,
Can not resist.
Those minor whiners,
Mentally unfit.
Are soon the ones endorsed,
As leaders people pick.
To sit and make decisions.
In positions,
Of leadership.
Although they're misfits.
Incompetent.
They are selected.
To represent.
The ones unconscious.
And ignorant.
Yet still they follow.
Detached from common sense.
No matter if they've been deceived.
They believe they will receive,
Equality to meet...
All their wishes wanted as they please!
Once minor whiners,
Have reached the top.
That vine is poisoned,
From the bottom nonstop.
Now that they're major players.
With pockets overflowing.
Not a cent to drop out.
Revealed they are see to be corrupted.
Deceivers of the people's trust.
But still the people stay believing,
They should protect.
And defend.
A way of life for them that has no end.
Regardless of the evidence presented.
Publicly to witness and observe.
They blame to claim it all on those 'others'.
Different in appearance.
And assorted ethnic colors.
Without it to be mentioned,
They are sisters and their brothers.
From ancestors who pretend,
Themselves not immigrants.
Although the color of their skin,
Is far from alabaster...
Pure!
Far from alabaster pure.
