the beauty within
a mother who loves,
a daughter who cares,
a sister who protects ,
and the friend who helps,
the roles of a woman are countless ,
so caring , loving and guileless .
slim , slender ,fair and bold .
the definition of beauty is pretty old.
peoples attitude is getting cold,
its time to redefine beauty and break the mould.
thus i recollect a tale
where beauty could have made love to fail
"son" said the father bold ,upright,
scared the son said 'sorry' and kept quiet
'she is an acid attack victim alright ,
so stay away and don't create a fight.
the son explained "dad she is my love,
it isn't her face but her heart that i love
a few months ago some people like you
wanted revenge so burning acid they threw,
as a police officer in jail she put a few,
for domestic violence and then time flew
she fought against a crime and protected a woman,
now its time to fight the cheap thoughts of men
its heart that you see,
her courage that brings glee,
her character is gold,
her courage and bravery can never be sold
mom too is traditional and not so pretty,
but we love mom because she is so witty
i will never remarry for that ,
just because my wife's face is burnt,
you have a daughter never forget,
if she faces this, her hand don't you let
a woman's identity is the beauty within,
no make-up or cosmetic is a kind hearts twin
with time beauty dies,
but eternal is the heart of a woman which can sacrifice
so change your perspective,
every woman is an angel without whom you cant live"
the dad agreed and smiled,
he called his daughter-in-law and her tears he wiped,
