Over The Field
"Come, walk with me",
a voice I heard,
I turned, ready to run,
the Lord was standing by.
He led me to a field of corn,
along the road grew thorns,
ugly and tall.
He said, "I'll wait for you
past over this field,
tread not on the corn, nor the sheaves,
nor leave behind
a trail that bleeds,
but find, while still day,
the steps that I made,
and make my path
your own domain".
