My Moon.

That bright moon is the place where my dreams are;
Flowers and love and joy born of true desire;
A smile on each dream, travelling afar
To caress my heart's squalid, human mire.
But my dreams! They always crumble to dust . . .
They have!
In time and fate's consuming pyre.
Love killed by flowers and joy by futile lust.
And look!
Look!
O look, my moon is on fire!

Love reading. Love languages. Love writing. This made me start reading since - oh, ever since I can remember. I began writing since I was in High School. Pursued my Masters in English Literature and I have carried on this fascination with words - hopefully, this love affair lasts for a lifetime. more…
