My Stardom
The greatest to ever write with the pen, I'm God's #1 poet
The Devil rolled out the thread of talent and God was the one who sowed it
These other poets is aiming for the sky
The stars or mars, somewhere out in the mist
Meanwhile I'm aiming above God, a place that doesn't exist
I'm one to never bluff
Better tell that big guy to duck
Imma keep feeding the world this good stuff until they had enough
"That young man is too cocky
A real poet should come along and put him in his place"
Well I'm sorry your a couple complements too late
They got the nerve to call me cocky
When they wanna smack this black puck around this white surface like hockey
Those with the largest collage of work couldn't top me
I wouldn't even let something small like cancer or Aids stop me
I'm in a league of my own, part of an elite
Being only driven by my dream, so money and women gotta take a backseat
But you can play the passenger, wearing no seatbelts is the tool
The only automobile that you know that run without any fuel
Staying on empty helps me with my endurance
Determination helps me endure this
No cash spent on this dream car, and I just saved a lot of money on my insurance
"Yo Tylee's latest work, have you seen it?"
The meanest
Produced by a young genius
Each of his thoughts so far apart from the last,
Though wouldn't let anything come between it
So what's better the fame, or the passion for the career itself
Don't forget the wealth
So while your trying to figure this out, think about your career's health
I'm starving for that limelight
That kind that can shine through a lens
And burns through the skin
Of those that hide their talent and don't have the courage to win
Don't want a routine 9-5, I want some of that real paper
I want change, and I don't mean any pocket favors
No handouts
But I wanna stand out
So I'm guessing my life is something that gotta plan out
So many options, I got all these opportunities in my way
I am going to choose one and become a star one day
