Rainbow Bridge
When I cross over that bridge on a near future day
I wonder what the keeper might have to say
For I have read numerous versions of what might be
But no myth can say exactly what I will see
Will I been given another chance to make all things right
Or will I meet the wrath of the keeper when she is in sight
Have I done enough to enjoy glory for all ages
Or will I be given a book on which to write new pages
No one knows until they cross the bridge out there
And all our deeds are laid out for our soul to bear
So why so many prophicies about eternal life
When it may only be another round of strife
So why not live one day at a time
Be loving to others and commit no crimes
Then with confidence the keeper we can meet
And enjoy the ever after on solid ground our feet
