the dancer
Look at her dancing across the stage.
Shes so graceful and so free
If only they knew how was locked up in a cage.
Her leaps they land so gracefully
If only they knew how her life was crashing down.
Her twirls their spun so delicately
If only they knew shes spinning out of control.
Her arms movie in sync with the song
But striped across her arm is something she did wrong.
Her face turns towards the spotlight
But her hear is shut off tight.
No one can get in
And no one seems to understand,
All the pain shes in.
As the music slows,
So does she.
Then the music stops
And theres nothing left to see.
For she took her final bow
And she has died
And no one knows how.
