The Last Sonnet
i have tried to burry you on the oceans floor...
but at that depth my mind cracked...
the ocean made flowing sculptures of you...
trying to burn the crack closed it just made steam...
over the years i hope you forgot about me...
at the tip a paridise island, built for two...
obviously under it all your still my muse...
the tip of the island, a spear to my heart...
i know i can just let go, and walk down any road...
flow down any cliff and smash against any rock...
i have walked through life, missing parts of me...
sitting in a standing pool of pain, never looking back...
life has passed us by...
i look back and have never wondered why...
