Ths Summer of my Soul

The surging waves of summer's sea
beat upon the breast of my horizon,
A soft haze sets upon my brow
A brilliant dream flies by,
exalted, azure sky
This, the summer of my soul.

Eternal warmth pervades,
replete with dreams, dreams!
O blessed passion,
My feet sink in sifting sand, caress,
surrendering grains of soft.....

Like rapturous clouds, wild gulls
abandon perfect order
with tranquil joy of freedom, boundless,
My heart flies higher.

A dionysian goddess, this glamorous sea
recalls desire, interprets secret pleasure
A kiss is formed...
Red glow of summer's sun
sets in the horizon of my soul.
