Born in the sea, you call me a marine mammal
Even though I was created by the Maker,
I respect you, for He has made you His caretaker
I spend my time with my mum and dad,
In the same way that you do,
I love swimming for hours together,
That is not all that I could do.
I talk to my near and dear,
In a very similar way as you,
I make use of Gods gifts in the same way you do,
But all that I get are treasures from the deep,
Unlike you, I don’t get variety.

I see you many a time floating above my home,
And very often come near you to say “HI”
I do understand your difficulties,
And help you fetch a meal or two from my home.
I feel that interacting with you will make us friends,
I can see and hear you from very far off,
When you call out to me, I respond with glee.
Greeting you with a fitting performance,
I am overjoyed to meet you once again.
So I bring my friends when I visit,
So we could play together in this paradise.

But I suddenly feel throbbing pain,
When I reach your side,
I get confused with your actions,
And I am frozen at that spot,
But you continue to stab me with friends of yours.
When I look up I see others of your kind watching on.
We don’t die instantly, so you cut us many times with thick hocks,
We are near extinction, but you don’t seem to care.
I want to be your friend,
But you kill me to prove that you have reached adulthood?
I don’t understand you my friend.
All I can do now, is look at the blue sky
Look in your eyes,
And produce a grim cry like a new born child,
I suffer and you show no compassion,
Till I am left to die in my own blood,
Why stain the sea in blood by your actions?

Stop the Calderon Dolphin Slaughter in Denmark:

Every year, in Denmark, specifically the Faroe Islands, innocent and helpless Calderon Dolphins are slaughtered brutally by the danes. Why you may ask, it’s a pointless and stupid rite of passage to manhood.
What point is there in killing another living being just to prove you have "evolved", you have transcended. There is simply no need.
This poor dolphins are stabbed a number of times, but as if that weren't enough; they bleed to death, probably in excruciating pain while the whole town watches.
Needless to say, that killing a defenseless animal is no proof of anybody's manhood.
So, I urge, as I am sure many more have, to stop this nonsense. And take action.
Never ever has killing another creature, another living being, with which we share this world, has done any good, to anyone. So let's stop it.
