Analysis of Vacate

Sometimes silence isn't golden
It's a cracked and crumbling arch
A stumbling shadow alone in the dark
A passion with no functional parts

A self-induced artificial chill
The numbing of the sacred fire
Vacated premises you already are
Your absence no longer required

I know it must be terrifying
To shine such a tarnished star
But we're all imperfect heavenly lights
Just come out from hiding
Wherever you are
Come out
Whoever you are

How would we know if you went missing
From your invisibility?
You're not even present when you're present
The mysterious absentee

Hey, since you're pretty much checked out anyway
Would you kindly remove your own dead?
The staff has grown weary of cleaning
The messes you've left in your head

I know it must be terrifying
To shine such a tarnished star
But we're all imperfect heavenly lights
Just come out from hiding
Wherever you are
Come out
Whoever you are
