Analysis of Dirty Little Secrets

I'm not awake enough for two
You're just awake enough for none
I can't feel enough for two
You only feel enough for numb
I'm really only slightly deaf
'Cause you're completely dumb
Like I'm some dirty little secret
You're trying to keep me from

You're much too high to lay so low
So hard to see when you never show
I may be blind but willfully so
Whenever you hide you, I go

I apologize for being awake
While you just try to sleep
And work so hard at hiding
From the secrets that you try to keep
I hope you don't mind me noticing
The dark you don't want me to see
But one of those dirty little secrets
Is keeping me from me

You're much too high to lay so low
So hard to see when you never show
I may be blind but willfully so
When you hide me from you, I go

I'm not awake enough for two
