Analysis of Sapphire Lullaby

Sapphire Lullaby, where all things lay forth in time, chime upon chime, all things left in
a darkness enshrined
It’s tide forever hides upon the undine by the river side
Seeking peace from the darkness, the innocence find the glowing embers of the blue-shine glow
For this is the experience of the Sapphire Lullaby as you fade away long into the night

Blue times pass in the not so distant past among an entry into the bleak beyond
For those of us who follow that blue-lit path have no way surpassed those new, old, or otherwise last
Darkness echoes through the very chamber of the bleeding heart that one finds root cause by blackening emotions tainted by impossible task
For this is the experience of the Sapphire Lullaby as you fade away long into the night

From the bleeding heart through the midnight lies, the vision wanes, flows, and tries
Let the cold winds that blow through your shattered soul reassure you and guide you home
Such a day is gone and darkness falls, yet you look up, and you see blue lightness shine bright and tall
For this is the experience of the Sapphire Lullaby as you fade away long into the night

Have you found the world enough, tired, broken and you’ve had enough?
Times are tough, a mental dryness fills your head
By the powers that be provide you pass, I hope this night of pain will be your last

It is time to say goodbye, for this is your Sapphire Lullaby

About this poem

In my view, there is a symbolic meaning behind what I refer to being a ‘sapphire lullaby’. This poem has be written as my way of saying goodbye to a friend close to me who sadly lost her life.
