Analysis of Amid the Clouds I Sat
Early morning.
Drops of dew.
The clouds of a gray hue.
I imagined beautiful flowers
And that I flew.
A chill,
A thrill.
I relaxed deep in the heavens,
Amid the clouds I sat.
I saw the sun
Shining through.
I saw a jet
Shining blue.
Upon my palm
A flower rested.
I remained calm.
My life was a trial,
I remained in denial.
I clenched the flower,
I pulled each petal
One by one.
A petal shower,
I saved one,
I answered one.
Did I fail in my life?
No, but I sailed over strife.
