Analysis of Journey To The Light

I didn’t exist, but now I do.
A shot in the dark made me appear.
I was nothing but grew into something.
I am safe here, I am happy.
I have a good supply of food and water.
Here I grew into a complete person,
but my time here is short.
I must begin my journey.
I will take this journey head on
and hope that things work out.
I must navigate through
a long narrow tunnel.
At the end of the tunnel,
I see a light.
I head for that light,
hoping for a better life.
Then I am there.
It is cold.
A gentle hand
sharply slaps my butt.
It brings tears to my eyes.
Then I am warm again.
My tears fade away.
In the arms of my mother,
I am her new little baby.
