Analysis of A Whole New World

I live in this world.
It is beautiful to me.
I have many friends.
They say there’s more to see.
I really don’t care.
Some of them tease me.
They brag about their view.
They have hope for me.
Maybe someday I’ll see it too.
I don’t care.
Then one day it happened.
I got a chance to discover.
It was a gift.
It was from my lover.
Maybe I care.
I put the gift on.
I was amazed.
I know what they were saying.
I know why they gave praise.
I think I care.
I see new things.
Things that bring tears to my eyes.
Things like a rainbow.
Things like the morning sunrise.
I care.
This other world is great.
The colors are so bright.
I’m glad I have good friends.
They helped me see the light.
I really care.
I live in a new world.
A world with the masses.
I have something new to love.
They’re called color blind sunglasses.
I really, really care.

About this poem

I watch a lot of YouTube and this poem was inspired by some of the ones I like to watch. It is about a person discovering a whole new world.
