Analysis of DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY

JaQuiondia Banks 1990 (MILWAUKEE, WI)

Depression and Anxiety
My mental health is taking over
My emotions are up and down on a rollercoaster
It has gotten the best of me lately
That I fight depression and anxiety on a daily
It feels like, I am at war with myself
And I would not put this pain on anyone else
My anxiety I feel, is like a bullet passing through my heart
My depression smells blood like a deadly shark
My mental health has made its mark
In my mind I have become the walking dead
And I rather not be alive instead
My mental illness feels like a robbery
I am not the same person, I use to be
I want the dark cloud to go away
And I want to see brighter days
It has caused me a lot of pain
I wish the suffering I feel did not stay
Depression and anxiety you have kept me down long enough
I will not allow you to defeat me because I am strong, and I am tough
But enough is enough
