Analysis of The Iroko Has Fallen

Mourning reverbrated in the once quiet village.
The big Iroko tree had fallen in its pillage.
Wails, sobs and grief rended the air.
The situation was pathetic and full of despair.
Praises were sang about this great patriarch.
Every mourner had words to praise the dead to patch.

"God, has taken his own," cried the Christian.
"He was a great man," he added on the yarn.
"We loved him but God loved him better.
Missing him to haunt us be the matter."
He wailed on with tears rolling down the cheaks.
He intensified his saddened shrieks.

"His enemies got him at long last.
Now the Iroko has fallen so fast."
These words were spoken by the spiritualist.
He saw somebody's hand in the death list.
"The dibias charm worked its miracles.
The Iroko succumbed to the machinations of the oracles."

The physician had his own diagnosis on the pad.
"Covid-19 has swallowed another victim in the ward.
This pandemic will swallow the whole world.
We should sought the treatment like mad."
Yet the Iroko had miraculously fallen.
There was no way to bring life to the men.
