Analysis of I M A GHOST WHO'S LOST IN TIME

jody l cooke 2021 (north carolina)

As I reach out to you and you're gone
I am left standing here in my chamber
All alone.

Hoping that you have changed your mind,
For I am a ghost who's lost in time. But
Yet it is hard for me to see.

That you are still wild and free. I guess it
Is the end between your heart and mine? Oh
How I tried to love thee.

Yet it's hard when I am left behind like a
Ghost who is forever lost in time, you only come
Back to haunt my mind.

Of days gone by, thinking of you and the tears
Fall before my eye's, like a whisper of the wind.
Wondering in my heart

If we will become one again. As the moon casts
A shadow into my soul of a fire that has turned
Cold, I am guilty of one crime.

For the love between your heart and mine. For
I am a ghost who's lost in time.
