Analysis of Blinding Common Sense
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Impossible it is not to notice or mention,
The many ethnic faces in places proving...
To be competent, intelligent and wise.
And more reliable to depend upon,
To get accomplish tasks needed to do.
Than others who fear,
Having their pretensions replaced.
Imitating a fiction to delude,
Beginning to fade away...
The image of greatness.
As truth invades,
Their charade of a masquerade.
For centuries displaying dishonesty.
Cloaking a democracy,
Achieved successfully...
By the diversity of the people.
Not only to see it but also to believe.
And perhaps this fact,
Of a way of life enjoyed.
Has begun to annoy,
The many who perceive...
They have cause and reason,
To remain on the right...
Out of the light to reside in darkness.
A darkness.
Without shadows.
Where they can weaponize,
Their dimming minds.
Finding chaos and conflict.
A decision.
To choose to defend and protect,
An absence of color.
That has come to blind,
Whatever is left of their common sense.
Gone from their conscious minds.
If any remnants of it,
Can be rescued and declared detected!
