Analysis of A FRIEND, A LOVER

Take time to dream
Take a walk by the stream
Take a rest on a tree
And tell me what you see

Take time to talk
And tell me what you’ve said
Another tale of folk
Something I’ve already read

Take time to hope
And tell me what it is
To someday be tied on the knot
Of happiness and bliss

Take time for all your deeds
And I’ll be here in times of need
But please, take time to listen
And please listen to me
Though I was not glistening
Please! Please be with me
