Of five senses

My bare feet, the sky is open; grievous and black.
The grass seems really soft, softer than her lips,
I stand up after the bad kiss, and there’s a headrush
And I, feeling dizzy. My muscles sore, and eyes heavy
my heart is kind enough to beat still,
And my lips, wet with her saliva, warm and pleasant.
The smell of Jasmines, sweet and appealing
And my father’s perfume, that I’ve worn; strong and manly.

Today is the day of uncertainty,
I see my favourite plant dying,
And I could do nothing about it.
The leaves, brown; the stem, thin.
My shadow on the wall imitates my gestures,
And my parents, talking in another room, I hear.
I can see lights on the opposite window
Of my house, and it’s all darkness in my room.
I can smell a burning egg there, and a buzz of radio,
And a dog howling on the street.
She doesn’t know, my eyes follow her
Like of a moon
Through the window pane.

That kiss on the roadside field
Felt like getting lost,
Unearthly, and insane
With her thirsty hands,
And desire evaporating out of nowhere,
There was no inertia in her movements.
A bad kiss, with scratches that ache
And a burden on the heart that feels heavy.
I let out an unwanted cry,
The city lights are comforting,
And very dear to me
Unlike that girl on the roadside field
And a bad kiss that has left my sixth sense
Flawed.
