Analysis of Lonesome

Though as pitiful as it sounds,
I enjoyed the quiet.
I enjoyed being alone.

Even though at times I wish
I had someone to turn to,
I was more at peace than ever.

No one to shame my actions,
no one to pity me,
no one to compare me to.

I may have been alone,
but I was free.
