Analysis of World Warning
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
I am writing unto you,
For your sins are forgiven;
So continue to be true,
For your place up in Heaven.
Forgiven for His name sake,
With knowing Him from the start;
You have to remain awake,
To block Satan from your heart.
You do know God the Father,
Who had given us His Son;
Whom we call our Brother,
Because of what He had done.
We know from the beginning,
Because knowing you are strong;
God is keeping you winning,
Because in Him you belong.
Do not ever love the world,
Or anything within it;
For as His plans is unfurled,
Ensures what you inherit.
For all that is on this earth,
Being fleshy desired;
That causes sin to give birth,
From worldly goods acquired.
Desires that snares the eyes,
Lusts that of prideful life;
Are filled with deceitful lies,
And ends up causing you strife.
The Father is not from here,
And it is passing away;
So always laud and revere,
And continue to obey.
