Analysis of I Rode It Out

When at last, they ask me
Whoever they may be
When all my spindled days are spun
When weaving work is done
The questions I won’t shy from

Who stop the merry-go-round
Who stop my play and sound
Who walk me off the spinning ride
Who ask me how
I leave it now
I’ll smile and shout
“I rode it out!”
“and all the marrow inside”
