Analysis of A Viagem

Renato Sakate 1978 (Botucatu)

A manhã nasce normalmente,
mas agora os ares são outros.
É a viagem para a liberdade,
cujas asas batem ao meu encontro.

Liberdade, rainha e mestra nossa,
nos faz descobrir suas entranhas.
Mesmo por caminhos estranhos,
que a nossa razão não assimila.

A modernidade me causa espanto,
tal a velocidade que a conduz.
Ontem vivia-se à luz de velas.
Hoje, quem saberia, à velocidade da luz.
