Analysis of Serena Paz

Renato Sakate 1978 (Botucatu)

Volto a ti, oh poesia, pela amargura
pois sei que tu me escutas tão calada
como a gruta vazia da madrugada
sem o ranger constante das agulhas

As minhas confissões guardo em palavras
distribuídas em versos de uma em uma
Serena paz de minha sepultura
és o doce caminho às minhas asas!

Tanto sofro, oh poesia, por nada ter
e por tudo sofrer neste cenário
farto de iniquidade a combater

os nossos bons princípios de lealdade,
os nossos bons alardes pelo Rei.
E a nossa grande dúvida, a verdade.
