Analysis of The LORD Is Great
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
All Your works I appreciate,
And all Your saints are blessing You;
They shall speak not to deviate,
From Your Holy Word that holds true.
They shall speak about Your Kingdom,
Of the glory of Your power;
And the greatness of Your wisdom,
Patiently wait for the hour.
They make known of Your mighty deeds,
The divine splendor of Heaven;
Ensuring us of our needs,
That are met and have been given.
Your Kingdom is everlasting,
Endures through all generations;
The unrighteous You are casting,
To the depths for incinerations.
The Lord upholds who are falling,
And raises up all who bow down;
Those who answer the calling,
Be ordained with a golden crown.
The eyes of all look unto You.
Giving them food for the season;
Receiving wisdom to construe,
For understanding the reason.
You satisfy the desire,
Of each and every living thing;
From Your hand that we require,
For all the goodness it will bring.
The Lord is righteous in all ways,
Near to everyone who will call;
Your truth follows me all my days,
And has the means for a cure-all.
You fulfill desire who fear,
And will save those who You hear cry;
Preserves all whose love is sincere,
But condemn all those who defy.
