Analysis of Darkness Falls

Darkness consumes
Demons come out to play
All the good I thought I had
Gone, replaced by the war inside

The fight inside hidden by
A fake laugh, a forced smile
They don't understand, how could they
They only pretend to care, no one genuinely does

The evil escapes the break in my skin
Releasing pressure as it leaves
The struggle is real
There's no escaping me

There no hiding it
The conflict is real
Perhaps this explains
My inability to feel

It's a scary site
I can't look away
Lord please help me
This is what I pray
