Analysis of Diminish
distortions of reality once mirrored in my eyes
impress through reflections of light and shadow
a translation of weightless beauty
caressed without a soul's foundation
what care I to lie in the sepulcher
when I can rest my face in the brackish slough
I am undone and prefer the slow, twisty death
my feelings naught
I am numb to my core, in my bones I am numb
and the blood does slow and thicken
and the beating in my ears dwindles to nothing
until I am not...
