Analysis of The Daily Grind
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
If the daily grind is getting you,
And sometimes even makes you blue;
Then you should change the cup you drink,
And find one that will make you think.
The Word of God is right and true!
Enjoy it with your morning brew.
The joy that comes from knowing Him,
Will make your spirit fit and trim.
The cups are full at Jesus’ house,
So take one and invite your spouse;
To come and share their faith with you,
And go witness to others too!
Step out in faith and keep on walking,
As with your friends you keep on talking;
And pray you’ll get a front row seat,
To worship at our Savior’s feet!
